"Got a phone call at 2:45 from this office informing me that they will not be covering my home insurance due to pictures that I had to take to get insurance from them. Their reason to cancel my insurance is in their words were "bad siding on my garage and they didn't like the way my 10 year old roof looked".To my knowledge, they never sent anyone to my house to do an inspection themselves. Maybe if you are closer to them than Lacrosse WI, they are great, but I was directed to this agency from State Farms website."

I understand how disappointing it can be to receive news like this, especially after going through the process of obtaining insurance. The decision to not cover your home is based on the condition of your roof and garage siding as noted in the photos you provided. While your roof is relatively young at 10 years, the curling shingles and significant granular loss indicate that it may require repairs to ensure the integrity and safety of your home. We always strive to prioritize the well-being of our clients and their properties, which is why we must adhere to these guidelines. I understand that you feel there may have been a lack of thorough inspection, and I appreciate your concerns. Our underwriting process relies heavily on the information and images submitted, as well as established criteria for assessing risk. This ensures that we provide the best possible coverage for our clients. I personally reviewed these photos and talked with our Underwriting team to better understand and look for any options available to help you. After speaking with you over the phone, I tried to explain that the determination is made based on the physical evidence (photos), not by our local office. I want to assure you that I did everything possible at the office level to relay the information and advocate for your case in hopes of getting you approved. It’s important to note that this process is not determined by AI; it is a real person with experience specifically in evaluating shingles and siding who makes these decisions. "Alex was always available to speak to when I needed him and he followed through on appointments. He provided me services of patients, as he explained things well and when I had questions he answered them in different ways so I was confident in what State Farm had to offer. He provided me education and tools, he did this by teaching me how to use the website and how the functions of the program work. Alex also provided rapport and bonded with me. He got to know me, asked questions about me, we talked about things we’ll had in common and formed trust with me. This trust was not misplaced and I have been able to count on him from the beginning to end. Alex provided Stand Up service and I would like to be able to communicate with him from this point moving forward. He provided me his phone number to I can text him during work hours.
